A Mod Collection Firebird Platypus in Smooth Copper

This Mod™ Collection 2024 Firebird™ Platypus has a Smooth Copper finish. It is one of three Mod Collection instruments to feature this unique color, created by a member of the paint team nicknamed “Smooth.” In addition to the finish, these instruments share Firebird™ Alnico 5 pickups and flamed maple pickguards fashioned from the back of a scrapped acoustic guitar. This instrument also features chrome hardware including knurled knobs, chrome Grover® Mini Rotomatics® locking tuners, a flamed maple truss rod cover, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors. It weighs 8.4 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
